For Elementary to Post-Secondary Students with Learning Differences
Many students face challenges in traditional classroom settings.
They may struggle with learning differences that impact their academic performance and mental wellbeing. Parents and educators often seek additional support to help these students thrive.
At SEED Education Strategies + Solutions, we offer personalized academic coaching tailored to the unique needs of neurodivergent students, such as those with ASD, FASD, anxiety, or other learning disabilities. We also offer subject-specific tutoring for students of all ages and learning profiles.
Our experienced coaches provide one-on-one support, helping students develop essential learning skills, improve their academic performance, and build confidence.
Sessions are available both online and at the SEED office in Elora, Ontario.

coaching process
1 - Initial Consultation
Schedule a consultation to discuss your learner's needs, strengths and goals. Depending on the area of need, we will conduct basic skills and subject-specific assessments to develop a customized learning plan.
2 – Implementation of Learning Plan
As a result of the initial assessment and learning plan, session frequency and duration will be determined in collaboration with you. Scheduled work sessions are flexible in nature, taking into account the current learning requirements of the student (such as upcoming tests, exams, assignments, homework, extra curricular commitments). We follow up with parents to share the actions and results of the session.
3 - Progress Monitoring
We will regularly monitor your learner's progress and adjust the learning plan according to their skills development and the needs of their everyday life. We'll provide regular updates to caregivers and the student’s academic team.
What’s the difference between academic coaching and tutoring?
Academic coaching focuses on developing essential learning skills and strategies tailored to the individual needs of the student, whereas traditional tutoring typically focuses on specific subject areas or homework assistance.
While we offer subject-specific coaching, we consider each student's needs with a holistic approach, ensuring that personal growth and the mental health of the student are supported.
